Opr8r is the compliance operator between your software product and the carrier network. It handles 10DLC registration, consent and STOP/HELP/START, quiet hours, per-recipient caps, and a legal-grade opt-in ledger — all inside a Telnyx account you own. Opr8r owns no content, UI, analytics, or billing; those belong to your product.
Companies that send text messages on behalf of many other businesses — customer-engagement and review-request platforms, and vertical SaaS with a messaging feature — that already own their product but do not want compliance as an in-house competency. Opr8r is not a texting app for a single business that wants an inbox.
No. The Telnyx account, the 10DLC brand, the campaigns, and the numbers are all registered in your legal entity’s name. Carrier invoices go to you directly. Opr8r only holds the credentials needed to run the compliance pipeline.
STOP is handled at the platform per CTIA rules: consent is revoked in the ledger, the confirmation is sent, a consent.revoked event fires to your webhook, and every future send to that recipient refuses with a structured 409. Consent is global across message classes — one STOP silences text-backs, reviews, and reminders alike.
Opr8r runs on Telnyx today, inside a Telnyx account that you own. Carrier-neutral support is on the roadmap but not required to get started.
You can leave at any time. Because everything is registered in your own account, ending the relationship is rotating one key — Opr8r’s access is revoked and the account, numbers, brand, campaigns, and exported consent ledger all stay with you. No export tickets, no migration project.
Message bodies are stored so the platform can operate, but they are never logged. Keeping messages PHI-minimal is your policy to set; the platform never weakens its enforcement for anyone.
Typically one to two weeks, most of it spent in carrier review queues. Opr8r handles every step of the registration and review process, and the registration fee is approved or refunded.
A one-time registration fee per campaign (approved or refunded) plus a flat monthly platform fee — a base that includes your first active campaign, plus a per-campaign fee for each additional one. Carrier and registry fees are billed by Telnyx directly to your account; Opr8r never rebills them.
No. Opr8r is built for transactional and relationship messaging — reminders, review requests, missed-call text-back, operational alerts — to recipients who have opted in. We do not support cold outreach or purchased-list blasting.
